An enhancement I would like to see is the ability to read DWF files. In Southern California there are a large amount of developers that use Buzzsaw (owned and run by AutoDesk) and the file format for that depository is only DWF.

There are cheap programs available to make the conversion to PDF or TIF files. Acrobat 8 was able to do it easily, but Version 9 not so much.

I use Design Review from AutoDesk to view DWF and DWG files and if I need them in PDF format I print to a PDF driver and save them as a PDF. use http://www.cutepdf.com/ and download the free print driver to convert to a PDF file.

We use the same method as "AJS" and find it works just fine. However, it does become a lengthy process the more files you get. We are seeing a lot more of this format from developers that use the Buzzsaw program. It would be nice to be able to directly import these file types and get going on your takeoff without conversions.

inside Design Review, use batch printing to print more then one file at once. I often get builders who save every page of a print as a new file. Batch printing works wonders.
