I am building an excel template for concrete estimating. It works fine, transfers information accurately, etc, blah, blah. I save it, close it, then reopen the file. The link between that file and the particular eTakeOff quantity worksheet has to be reestablished. Why does it not maintain that link? Is there some identifier that could be used in excel to:
* maintain the file link?
* be available to the particular file to identify for the user which project is on the worksheet?

This is a good question. I am not sure where to find the eT response??

Sorry, that post slipped our attention. I tried the following:
- Opened a new worksheet
- Put the formula "=ETkoProjName" in cell A1
- Selected the current eTakeoff project. The project name displayed correctly in A1
- Saved the worksheet and closed Excel
- Restarted Excel and opened the worksheet
- The same project name was displayed correctly.
This seems to be working correctly. What am I missing.
