This is caused by floating, then closing the main menu.
Apparently David got back to you Saturday moring with a work around for this. We're formally releasing a new version in a week or two that keeps this from happening. If you want that release early, let us know.

If you're familiar with regedit, you can fix this by deleteing this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\eTakeoff\RView\ProfUIS
You will lose your toolbar settings but they're pretty easy to reconfigure.
If you're not familiar with (or comfortable with) regedit, call support.
