It would be helpful to be able to overlay one page (representing one floor) on top of another page (representing the floor below) to check structural requirements and add items needed to one of the pages for the estimate. I do this with AutoCAD LT to verify requirements but this is use of layers rather than pdf objects.

What are you trying to do that Drawing Compare doesn't do?

Lay a 2nd floor drawing over a 1st floor drawing to check for needed block/beam/support lines.
