I am using the latest version of eTakeOff with the PDF acceleration software. I am doing an estimate for a 305 unit apartment complex with over 500 pages of documents in the 3 files. eTakeOff is very slow to respond to changes in the take off. I thought I would check Windows Task Manager to see if the memory was maxed out. Not even close. I have 4 CPU's, 8 gig of memory on four chips, and 1 gig of memory on the video card (2 chips). ETakeOff is barely using any resources. The question is this: is there a way to have eTakeOff look for available resources and use more to be able to get a faster response?
