There is no list of standard bid codes within my program. The box drop down box is empty. According to the help menu this list should be prepopulated, and there should be items already there that I can use or change. Is that right?

eTakeoff does not provide a list of standard bid codes. The screen capture in our help file is just an example. The user can import a list of their own codes into the eTakeoff "Standard Bid Code List" window for use when building traces (Pro) and Quantity Worksheet Items (Premier) or they can be entered individually while building traces (Pro) and Quantity Worksheet Items (Premier).
Since bid codes are used to organize measurements or facilitate the transfer of information to Excel and other estimating applications, the user is given the ability to define their company’s bid codes both in formatting and descriptions.
